Joint Chamber Breakfast

The Ann Arbor Area Chamber of Commerce and Ypsilanti Area Chamber of Commerce held a Joint Chamber Breakfast on Tuesday, January 12 to further discuss the announcement of forming the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti Regional Chamber of Commerce. Over 300 people were in attendance at the Morris Lawrence building that morning to hear from Diane Keller, President and CEO address the audience.

New Year, New Chamber

The Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti Area Chambers of Commerce announced that the respective Boards of Directors have unanimously approved a resolution to pursue joint operation and form the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti Regional Chamber. In addition, Diane Keller, current President of the Ypsilanti Area Chamber of Commerce, will be President of the new organization.

The Chamber recently partnered with the City of Ann Arbor, Master Business Recycler and the michigan recycling coalition to put on a special seminar series about how to save your business money through recycling. The seminar provided valuable information about the importance of recycling and great techniques to get your business and co-workers involved. One of the main focuses of the seminar was on starting a recycling program at your organization.
