It’s Official – We have Merged!

The historic merger of the Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti Area Chambers of Commerce becomes official today (June 1, 2010) forming the new Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti Regional Chamber.

“We are proud of our new logo that symbolizes the two communities coming together and overlapping to cause a ripple effect throughout the county,” explains Diane Keller, Chamber President & CEO. “Today we launch not only our new logo, but a call to action. We hope businesses will understand the strength of numbers in public policy, buying power, networking, along with all that membership has to offer and join the Chamber,” continues Keller.

“We are pleased to have a collaborative board representing both communities,” says the new entity’s Chair of the Board Karl Couyoumjian. “The newly formed board will work closely together to create a Chamber that truly is an advocate for the area’s businesses.”

The new 2010 Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti Regional Chamber Board will be comprised of:
