The Chamber has always promoted commerce between our members. The m2m discount program was created to assist this initiative. A 16-page font and back word document was created to display all of the m2m discounts available. Not only was this format old-fashion and unattractive, it was also not environmentally friendly.

The Chamber recently partnered with the City of Ann Arbor, Master Business Recycler and the michigan recycling coalition to put on a special seminar series about how to save your business money through recycling. The seminar provided valuable information about the importance of recycling and great techniques to get your business and co-workers involved. One of the main focuses of the seminar was on starting a recycling program at your organization.

Businesses are always developing ways to attract new customers or clients. While increasing customers or clients is important to the success of a business, the focus should remain on retaining current clients or customers. Studies show that it can cost up to 8 times as much to acquire a new customer or client than to retain an existing one. Now, more than ever, it is important to focus on these repeat customers or clients.
