getDowntown The getDowntown program, housed in the Ann Arbor Area Chamber of Commerce, is committed to addressing parking and traffic problems by providing information and assistance to businesses and employees in the downtown Ann Arbor area.

getDowntown started in late 1999 to promote alternatives to single passenger commuting. getDowntown provides information on biking, parking and alternative fuel vehicles, carpooling and carsharing, The Ride, walking and telecommuting. getDowntown is a partnership between the Ann Arbor Area Chamber of Commerce, Ann Arbor Transportation Authority, the City of Ann Arbor, and the Downtown Development Authority.

go!pass

The go!pass is an unlimited usage bus pass available to all downtown businesses at a reduced rate. Thanks to the generous support of the Downtown Development Authority, businesses within the Downtown Development Authority boundaries are entitled to go!passes for all their employees at $5/pass. With their go!pass, employees are entitled to unlimited rides on all Ann Arbor Transportation Authority routes and access to Park and Ride lots in and around Ann Arbor.

Get more out of your commute!  Take the Commuter Challenge

Take the Commuter Challenge during Curb Your Car Month and compete against other similar-sized organizations for prizes and fame. Employees and organizations will earn a point every time they log a sustainable commute in May. At the end of the month, employees can win prizes such as coffee gift cards, gift certificates for lunch at downtown businesses, and more!  Winning organizations will also earn prizes and special awards.
